The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. Formed in 1974, it now has 215,000 members across 33 regions and 230 branches.

The Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce is the modern-day result of a series of amalgamations of smaller, more localised Chambers of Commerce, over the last 170 years. For example, the Hull Chamber, the oldest, was formed in 1837. The Chamber’s core objective remains to help strengthen the local economy by supporting our Members in their business endeavours.

The IT Academy is part of the University of York and we are an accredited Microsoft IT Academy which allows us to offer the full Microsoft Official Curriculum, including Microsoft Office 2007, Server and workstation training.
We train staff and students here at the University and attract learners from businesses throughout Yorkshire. Our aim is to deliver high quality ICT training for University staff and local companies within the Yorkshire region.
We strongly believe in relationships and we actively network within the region. Over the years we have forged strong, efficient and effective relationships with many businesses.
